How to pose: 8 simple ways to perfect your photos
It’s never easy to strike that perfect pose for a photo.
Here are some simple posing tricks for the next time you’re looking for that perfect shot!
1. Hand to hip
Feel for your hip bone! Got it? Good! Now place one hand on your hip, remembering to keep your wrist relaxed and your shoulders down. Let your other hand just hang loose, with your fingers curled around an imaginary ice cream cone. Easypeasy!

2. Let your arms hang loose
Stand up and put one of your feet in front of the other and let both arms hang loose by your sides. Remember to take a deep breath and relax your shoulders. With one foot in front of the other, you’ll look like you’re walking in the photo #celebpose
3. Cross one arm
Create a 90 degree angle with one arm, and gently tuck the other hand under your chin. Again, remember to relax your shoulders and not hunch them for a more natural look.
4. Pocket pose
Gently put both hands into your pockets. By ‘gently” we mean push them all the way into your pockets so that your clothes don’t look bulky. Also, remember to let your elbows and shoulders drop. down and relax.
5. Hold onto something
One great way to keep your hands occupied is by holding a drink in pictures. Grab a glass of wine, cup of coffee, or bottle of water. This tip never fails!
6. Keep your hands busy
This makes will make the post natural and ‘unposed’. Just pretend to me holding a drink (previous tip) or doing something with your hands.
7. Purse pose
Another simple way to keep your hands busy – gently clasp your purse in front of your body with both your hands and play around with different ways to hold it. This always makes the pose look polished.
8. Finished with a hair fix
Pretend you’re fixing your hair when you pose and you’ll have another trick up your sleeve. We really love the ‘tucking your hair behind the ear’ look or the classic ‘earing fiddle’ pose. Classic perfection
